The Forum Shopping Centre is very proud to announce the opening of a new state-of-the-art 50,000 sq ft library and community centre.
This town regenerating development began in 2013 and was to be delivered in two phases. Phase one involved the redevelopment of the former Co-op building to provide a new 50,000 sq ft library at the first and second floors and has included the creation of three retail units totaling 27,000 sq ft on the ground floor.
One of the three ground floor units has been let to national value favourite, Home Bargains, which is now open.
The development also included an extensive refurbishment and a re-brand of the Centre.
Phase two included the proposed construction of a new 46,000 sq ft foot store and approximately 300 space surface car park with approved planning.
The new library and Customer First Centre were officially openened by the Mayor on March 28th 2014.
We hope you are enjoying your revitalised Forum Shopping Centre!
